Refreshing scheduled plan

The Refresh schedule plan form allows you to set the criteria to recalculate the FMP (Forward material plan). All the calculated data is then visible on Schedule plan form and all linked tabs.

Case summary The responsible person wants to set criteria for the recalculation of the FMP. This will be done by following these steps: Refresh schedule Establish criteria - Take into Account Select calculation parameter

1. Refresh schedule

The responsible person accesses this form from Schedule plan by clicking the  (Refresh) button.

WARNING In addition to the mentioned method, you can access this form by clicking the Wizards, selecting Refresh from the dropdown menu, or using the keyboard shortcut CTRL + 1.

On this form, the responsible person chooses between three provided options: tool, resource, or worker scheduling.

In our case, they want to recalculate the Resource schedule.

2. Establish criteria - Take into Account

In this section, they can set a wide variety of parameters to be used in recalculation.

First, they click on Plans, where they can select:

• Plan BOMs - Plan BOMs recalculation
• Reduce quantities- If checked, reduces quantities required in lines of plan by quantities from stock or production.
• Current Plan Only- Only current plan is used in recalculation

In our case, responsable person choose Current Plan Only.

After that, they check the Stock, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Work in Progress.

After that, the responsible person clicks the  (Refresh) button.

3. Select calculation parameter

In this section, all the selected parameters for recalculation are displayed in a coherent table, for an easier review before or after the recalculation of the schedule plan.
