 Displays ID of the selected specification, that is, of the item for which you want to create specification. For sake of updating and viewing enter or select an item (product and semi-finished product or item type: P, C, U): Here are included only items with specifications.

To select an item (product and semi-finished product, that is, item type: P, C, U) use the icon besides the Item field. Enter or select items according to the set criteria (fields).
67482.gif Clicking 67483.gif opens a list of all alternates contained in the specification. This way you can select individual specification alternate to view. Displays all alternates.

Lines of specification whose alternates do not match the filter criteria and so cannot be updated. They are marked the following way in the tree structure 67484.gif. Sublevels are updated if the integrated component has the same alternat as set for the filter.

Templates

 Opens a menu for setting-up templates

  • Rearrange Lines is used for rearranging lines of material and operations. 

  • Delete Specification opens a window for deletingal all lines of specification thus deleting specification linked to alternate. 

  • Copy Spec allows you to create new specifications, or better, transferring lines from one specification to another.

  • Changing Components and Resources allows you to change components and resources in group of specifications.

  • Cost Estimation allows you to create a cost estimation based on standard specification data.

  • Manufacture Time allows you to calculate production time required in production. 
Reports

Selecting it opens specification reports window or tools reports window.

If you are in the Operations panel, or more precise, in the Manufacture Time subpanel, then the reports menu offers the following option for displaying manufacture time report
