Chart of Accounts from Web Service

Each localization has its own set of chart of accounts which is available to download from web service.

000001.gif Pantheon has from program version 55.59.00 an option of using multiple chart of accounts with different expiry dates.
000001.gif Some local chart of account are available for transfer from web service.

We do not open new chart of accounts for each fiscal year! It makes sense if it is a substantive change in the use of certain accounts.  For example: existing account 4020 - Labor costs become 4020 - Depreciation of buildings and 4300 - Labor costs.

 

We reach Transfer registers by button  and choosing Transfer Register command.

 

What we need to know ...

000001.gif Changing settings of accounts in one chart of accounts doesn't affect the account settings of another chart of accounts.
000001.gif On journal entry we see chart of accounts valid for the target date in the header.

Automatic posting of exchange differences shows the chart of accounts whose expiration date corresponds to the period date for which journal entry will be created.

We are not able to delete new chart of account after adding any of new account or changing description, codes of accounts in the new chart of accounts.

The date of validity of the chart of accounts must cover all the entries in the Pantheon. Changing the expiry date of the chart of accounts of the period prior to the date of the first journal in the program is disabled.
000001.gif When using option Adding in the Import Type, the existing accounts and their properties in the chart of accounts will not be altered. If using option Add/Update also existing accounts and their properties will be updated.
