How to add new chart of accounts?

We can open new chart of accounts and edit accounts on the single chart of accounts in the chart of accounts register.

 

1. The existing chart of account will stay unchanged with opening the new one. New chart of account can be added with the New record button . The new message appear:

We choose the second choice "Create new chart of accounts", define Name of the chart of accounts and Valid from date.

 

2. At the opening of the new chart of accounts we can transfer accounts from existing (old) chart of accounts. If we need to change just a few accounts it would be better choice to transfer an existing chart of accounts.

 

3. If, at the opening of a new chart of accounts accidentally click Cancel, it can be the old one transfer into new one (if new one is empty) by wizard choosing:

 

4. We can start with editing (adding, deleting, changing) accounts or transferring chart of accounts from web service.
