WO – Consumption

For components and repro materials from simple work orders in Simple manufacturing.

The tab WO – Consumption displays an overview of the released WOs that are in progress or partially finished and where this item is needed to produce a finished product. This takes into account all levels of the BOM (see the chapter Creating Work Orders). All lines with negative quantities are excluded from the data displayed in WO – Consumption. They are excluded because such items increase the available stock, which is not desirable in most cases. Such negative lines can be a result of the consumption on a WO that was higher than planned or the material being issued with the option Create WO Work Preparation enabled.

Warning Please note all work orders that are in progress or partially finished affect the available stock, regardless of the setting for the option Include Only Valid Orders. A list of all WOs is displayed, regardless of the warehouse selected in the panel Stock.
