Warning This control does not replace the control provided by the end date of material transactions, which prevents intentional or unintentional damage to data from the completed period (see Goods period ended on DD.MM.YYYY! Editing not allowed!)

New documents are created in the following format YY-DTN-NNNNNN where:

• YY - last two digits of year
• DTN - document type number
• NNNNNN - six-digit document serial number

In Administration Panel | Settings | Company we can determine the year for newly created documents.  

If trying to create a new document that isn't within the limits, the program returns an error:

Solution:

1. You entered the wrong year for the document. Correct it and repeat the steps.

2. Your computer systems date is false.  Correct it and repeat the steps.

3. You are trying to create a document for the year that is ouside the set limits.  Make changes to the parameter accordingly  (e.g. set 1 for previous year, or set -1 to disable the control).

Hint The control of creating a new payroll document has been moved from the point of creation to the point of saving the new document.  This allows the user to make changes to the Payroll Period even if the parameter is not within the limits.  Previously users may have experienced some problems when creating new payroll documents of rarely used payroll types.
