Adding a work obligation

Using the feature Add/delete work obligation in Wizards, you can quickly and easily add work obligations for cases where work obligations have not been entered in My records using the buttons in the header of My records, e.g. where the entries for previous days are missing.

This chapter shows how to enter a work obligation for an employee.

CASE SUMMARY The person responsible wants to enter a private exit during work for the annual medical check for the previous day, 29 March 2023. This can be entered using the Wizard or by following the steps below: Opening the window My records Clicking the button Wizards Adding a work obligation

1. Opening the window My records

The person responsible wants to enter a private exit during working hours for a past date via the feature Wizards in My records.

To do this, the person responsible selects the module Personnel and the submodule Work records from the main menu.

A window on the tab My records opens.

2. Clicking the button Wizards

To enter the desired work obligation, the person responsible clicks the button Wizards in the command line.

From the drop-down list, the person responsible selects Add/delete work obligation.

This opens a pop-up window where the person responsible enters the details of the work obligation.

3. Adding a work obligation

The field Employee is automatically populated with the currently logged-in user, in this case Dan Director.

From the drop-down list, the person responsible selects the Type of obligation, in this case Private exit.

HINT The list of work obligations can be defined and customized in the menu Settings | Work records | Work obligations.

This information will be displayed in the list of work records in the tab My records.

Next, the person responsible enters the time and date. On 29 March 2023, the person responsible left work at 10:00 for their annual medical examination, which is specified in the field Start.

The person responsible returned at 12:00, which is specified in the field End.

HINT In the field Department, you can select a department if the employee has performed a certain work obligation for a department other than their primary work department and if this needs to be recorded for the purpose of payroll preparation in PANTHEON.

Finally, the person responsible manually enters a Note: Doctor's appointment.

The entered work obligation is saved by clicking the button Add.

The record appears in the list of work records, as shown in the image below.
