Grid list








Here we will check the main Documentation form and its contents. First bigger object is a grid list. On a grid list there are gathered all documents.

1. Grid list data
Status |
Status of a document: open, closed, rejected, delivered, failed

Unique document Key / Identifier. |
Archive |
Name of archive for data. A document type of Mnemo file. It indicates in which document type a document is archived. Multiple Mailboxes can be in on archive. |

Date of creation |
Due Date |
Due Date callculated from the document's Classification. |

Clerk ID |
Person responsible on the document. |
Title |
Title of a document. Automatically generated from a module where it was created. |

Name of document's Classification. |
Storage ID |
Name of a Storage where a document is stored. Storages are created in Administration panel - Storage. |
Mailbox ID |
A MailBox from where a document was sent or received. Mailboxes are created in Administration panel - Mailboxes. |
2. Drag & drop option
It is also possible to add documents by using DRAG&DROP option. You can drag documents from e.g. Windows Explorer and drop them in DMS grid. If you drag&drop for e.g. 5 files at once, one document is created in DMS module and 5 files are stored under Files TAB. New document receives status "open".

Archive: In case if a company has an archive that it maintained from multiple different locations, they must open several types of documents, each for one.

You can add additional columns to grid. |

Documents that are located in Documentation are temporary stored on Path to Datalab Executables in General settings in Administration panel. If specified path does not exist files are stored in Windows user temporary folder.
