Activation of Local eDocumentation

Service activation of Local eDocumentation is part of the process of its usage, which is best explained with the picture below;

The company can order Local eDocumentation services on the User Site or directly from PANTHEON .

After activation on the user site, the company receives an activation email from Datalab and checks the activated subscription in PANTHEON.

Next, there is a creation of a local database for document storage in PANTHEON and other settings. After defining the settings, the user can start using it.

Case summary Tecta wants certain documents to be stored only on their own servers because they are of a confidential nature and, according to internal rules, must not be stored with external providers. The company wants to store documents of a confidential nature; company policies, management decisions, etc. only on their servers. They plan that the size of stored documents will not exceed 10 GB. For this purpose, the person responsible selects the appropriate Local eDocumentation service and activates or orders it on the User Site. 1. Ordering the Local eDocumentation service on the User Site

By ordering the Local eDocumentation service, the user needs to log in to the User Site and select the option eServices.

HINT For detailed instructions on logging into the User Site and ordering additional services step by step, please read the section Preview and edit subscriptions.

On the page, the person responsible selects the service: Local eDocumentation in the field Local eDocumentation package.

The person responsible at the bottom of the window checks the checkboxes at the bottom of the window for;

• Specific terms and conditions for the use of local eDocumentation services and
• familiarization with the Price list and

activates the selected package by clicking on the Activate button.

HINT At the bottom of the window, the fields for agreeing to the general conditions are enabled, depending on the selected eDocumentation service. For help with ordering and choosing the eDocumentation package, contact your partner or the Datalab staff at 01 252 89 50 or prodaja@datalab.si

2. Activation of the Datalab Local eDocumentation service

After successfully ordering the Local eDocumentation service, on the user pages, the person responsible receives confirmation from the Datalab company about the activation.

With the activation email, the person responsible is informed about the service that the person responsible ordered, the quantity and the price.

HINT After ordering the Local eDocumentation package, you can also check the ordered service (whether the order has been recorded) in PANTHEON in Subscriptions. Via Subscriptions you can order new services directly from PANTHEON. On the mentioned site, you can also check the already used space / number of documents for the ordered service package eBusiness or PANTHEON Granules.

Activation of Local eDocumentation is now complete.

After activation, the user must proceed with Creating a local storage database documents and defining the basic settings.
