New Operation




The form New Operation is used to add an operation line to the service work order.
The form shows the operational line, operation as Item, description of the item, production time (Tpr) and set-up time (Tsu), and U/M which is automatically entered depending on the operational Item. Tools needed for operation and its description which is automatically entered depending on the chosen tool and if their description was added to the Items register.
After entering data, the additional operation is confirmed. Upon confirmation, the new operational line is added to the works BOM, and it’s immediately visible in PANTHEON.
To open the form, select Service orders from the menu and click one of the Servicing WO cards. In the form click the Plus button, and form new operation will show up.

1. Operation line
In the operational line, we see the position which new operation will have in our work BOM.
2. Operation
With a click on the Operation field, a drop-down menu with operation Items. The new operation can be added by choosing an operation Item in the drop-down menu or it can be inserted on the empty field above a drop-down menu.
On the right side of the Item is a description field. This can’t be edited and is changing depending on the operation Item selected. It is a description of the item if it was added to the Items register.
3. Time
The Time section of the form shows three fields. The first two (Tpr and Tsu) can be edited, in the last one data is automatically added depending on the operational Item.

Production time required for completing the operation. It is a variable production time of the operation.

Set-up time required for the production of specified quantities expressed in the selected U/M

4. Cancel button
The bottom left part of the form shows the two buttons, the first one is the Cancel button. By clicking it doesn’t save the entered data in the form, and returns to the Operations.
5. Confirm button
The bottom left part of the form shows the two buttons, the second one is the Confirm button. By clicking it saves the entered data in the form and returns to the Operations with a refreshed list of operation cards.
