Copy Earning Types to other Pay Slips
Through this wizard, we can copy earning types within the Pay slip itself or from one Pay Slip to another within the same period.

1. Heading parameters
| From Pay. Calc. |
Choose Payroll Calculation ID, from where the Earning types will be copied to. |
| To Pay. Calc. |
Choose Payroll Calculation ID, to which the Earning types will be copied to. |
| From Earn. Type |
Choose from which Earnings type ID you want to copy from a drop-down menu. |
| To Earn. Type |
Choose to which Earnings type ID you want to copy from a drop-down menu. |
| To Position |
Choose the method of copying the Earning Type to Payroll preparation between Total Position, Same Position or Active Position. |

HINT
Earning types can be transferred from one payroll calculation to another, or within the same payroll calculation.

WARNING
Ensure that the copy settings are adjusted appropriately when copying Earning Types to a different time period, especially if an employee changes job positions during the month.

2. Transfer Params
| Grade |
Choose the specific Grade that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Payee |
Choose the specific Payee that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Bank account |
Automatically entered based on the Payee field selection. The Bank account can be selected according to the data entered in the Subjects. |
| Department |
Choose the specific Department that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Cost Center |
Choose the specific Cost Center that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Days |
Enter the specific Days that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Hours |
Enter the specific Hours that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Factor |
Enter the specific Factor that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |
| Amount |
Enter the specific Amount that you want to copy based on the selection made in the Heading parameters of left empty. |

WARNING
In case we have a selected value in the Payee and Bank account fields the message IRIS 1002701 will appear.

3. Transfer from Earn. Types
Here selected checkbox will copy data in the Payroll preperation according to the choice in the Heading parameters.
| Grade |
If the Grade checkbox is selected, the Grade field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Payee |
If the Payee checkbox is selected, the Payee field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Bank account |
If the Bank Account checkbox is selected, the Bank account field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Department |
If the Department checkbox is selected, the Department field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Cost Center |
If the Cost Center checkbox is selected, the Cost Center field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Days |
If the Days checkbox is selected, the Days field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Hours |
If the Hours checkbox is selected, the Hours field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Factor |
If the Factor checkbox is selected, the Factor field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Amount |
If the Amount checkbox is selected, the Amount field in section Transfer Params will be locked and the data will be copied from Earning type chosen in the Heading parameters. |
| Update Existing Earning Types Only |
When the checkbox is not confirmed, a new position will be added to the Payroll Preperation.
When the checkbox is confirmed, the program will update the value of existing Earning types in the Payroll Preparation in the fields Days, Horus, Factor and Amount.

| Update |
The checbox is visible when checkbox Update Existing Earnings Types Only is confirmed. User can select which of the fields (Days, Hours, Factor, Amount) should actually be updated by clicking update next to the chosen field. |

WARNING
When determining the Grade, Department, or Cost Center, the program will only enter the selected Earning Types for workers who belong to a specific Grade class, Department, or Cost Center.

4. Criteria
Select the criteria based on which you want to copy the Earning type to.

Choose the Employee or more of them for which you want to copy the Earning Type or leave empty to copy for all Employees. |
| Grade |
Choose the Grade for which you want to copy the Earning Type or leave empty to copy for all grades. |
| Department |
Choose the Department or more of them for which you want to copy the Earning Type or leave empty to copy for all Departments. |
| Cost Center |
Choose the Cost center or more of them for which you want to copy the Earning Type or leave empty to copy for all Cost centers. |
5. Copy
By pressing on the button Copy, the program will transfer earnings types by chosen criterias in the line of the Payroll preparation.
