Creating a new FA inventory count

An inventory count of Fixed Assests is done either at the end of the year – once a year, or for any other shorter reporting periods. 

This chapter shows how to create an inventory count in PANTHEON Fixed Assests Inventory Granule.

CASE SUMMARY Tecta's employee Asseta Fixed decides to make an inventory count of fixed assest in Administration department. When she counts the fixed assets in the department, she enters them into the system using Fixed Assests Inventory Granule. This is done as follows: Opening the window New FA inventory Entering data into the document header Entering general data into the inventory count document Checking the data of the inventory count document

1. Opening the window New FA inventory

From the main menu, the person responsible selects the module New FA inventory. 

A blank window for entering the details of the FA inventory count opens.

She continues with selecting FA Inventory bassic settings.

2. Entering data into the document header

In the header of the new inventory count document, she selects inventory basic settings.

In Documenty type field she selects that she is doing Fixed assest inventory count.

In next step in field Type she choose Fixed assests inventory.

She continues with entering inventory general data.

3. Entering general data into the inventory count document

Clicking the right arrow button (Show) displays the section General.

In the section General of the inventory count document, the person responsible specifies the desired date of the inventory count and enables Committee members.

In this case, the person responsible enters the date: 03.01.2022.

Next, she designates Committee member in this case employee Adele Administrator.

In the step she enters FA Inventory records.

4. Checking the data of the inventory count document

Finally, she can enter or edit Fixed Assets inventry records for Administration department.

In the field Add fixed asset she select Fixed Assets found in the department.

In the field Quantity she selects number of Fixed Assets found.

Next she select Location of fixed asset.

Depending of fixed asset status she their Type. 

She saves the position by selecting  button.

Asset is added to inventory count and inventory document is created. Inventory gets its Inventory no.

In the same way she adds all the remaining Fixed assets to the document.
