Local accommodation

There are different ways to access the PANTHEON database.
We have prepared user guides to help you understand the different local installation methods. We have divided them into the following sections:
Local single-user accommodation
In a single-user installation, the software is used by only one user on their own computer. In this section, we have provided detailed instructions for this installation method.
Network installation without a destination server
When fewer users (up to five) access the application, the most powerful workstation on the network can be designated as the data server. On this computer, we install the SQL server with the database and the PANTHEON software package. On the other computers, only the PANTHEON software package is installed. In this section we have provided detailed instructions on how to do this.
Network installation on the server
When more than five users access the application, we designate one computer to act as the data server. The database is installed on this computer, and only the PANTHEON software package is installed on the other computers in the company. In this section we have provided detailed instructions on how to do this.
Remote users with terminal access
The installation of the data server is the same as the network installation on the server. The main purpose of this solution is to simplify the installation on workstations, as they only function as terminals. In this section we have prepared detailed instructions for this installation method.
