Case Details
The form Case Details shows all information about an existing Legal Case. On the form we can change or edit the case data.

The form opens when we select Internal no. of the Case on the Case list.

1. Toolbar
In Toolbar we can acccess the following content related to the case:
- Related cases
- Events
- Documents
- Financial overview
Toolbar also contains below features:

Save |
Button saves the changes. |

Button closes the New Case form without saving entered data. |
2. Case general information
Fields where we can edit the basic data of the new legal Case.
Customer
|
Select client ore multiple clients of the case. We select them from Subject register.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

Case Number |
Unique identifier assigned to a legal case by a court for tracking and reference purposes. |
Other party  |
Select opposing party or multiple parties from Subject register in legal case.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

Representative  |
Select person or entity from Subject register authorized to act on behalf of other party in legal case.
To enter new Subject select button and follow instructions Create new subject.

3. Case details
Fields where we can edit the detailed data of the new legal Case.
Case status

Select the status of the case.
You can choose between:

Competent court |
From Subject register select the court with the legal authority and jurisdiction to hear and decide a specific case.
|
Person responsible |
Select person authorized from Employees to act on behalf of customer in legal case. |
Participants |
Select other participants from Employees in legal case. |
Dispute value |
Enter the monetary amount or financial stakes involved in a legal case, used to determine jurisdiction or court fees and select currency. |
Competent court |
The court with the legal authority and jurisdiction to hear and decide a specific case. |
Opened on |
Enter opening date of the case. By default, today's date is selected |
Completion Date |
Enter case closing date, if is known. |
Case Description |
Enter additional case description.
