Group file import

Group file import is a functionality that makes it easier to import files, reports on individual animals. With this wizard, we can import files on an individual animal, as well as on all animals from the list at once.
The functionality is located in the menu Veterinarian | Registers | Owners and Animals, by clicking the Wizards button in the toolbar.

CASE SUMMARY
In a veterinary clinic, a receptionist wants to do a group import of animal photos into the PANTHEON VET program. The procedure is carried out in the following steps:
- Register of Owners and animals
- Group file import
- Add documents

1. Register of Owners and animals
The person responsible wants to do a batch import of files from a local disk.
For this purpose, the person responsible selects the menu Veterinarian | Registers | Owners and animals.
It opens on the first entry in the register.

The person responsible continues by selecting the wizard.
2. Group file import
In the toolbar the person responsible clicks on the button
(Wizards).
Several functionality selection options appear.

In our case, select: Group file import.
The Add documents window opens.
3. Add documents
In the Path settings field, specify the location or path to the file from which you want to import images or other documents.

HINT
In the Backup path field, you can enter the path to the archive where the already imported documents will be saved. It is not necessary to set the path to the backup.

In our case, select as shown. The lower part of the window is filled with data or positions of the files that are in the selected folder: Animals.

The Classification field is intended for specifying the classification of the documents that will be imported.

Hint
By double-clicking on the Classification field, the Classification plan opens.

In our case, the person responsible selects the option: 93 - VETERINARIAN.
In the positions, the person responsible selects the files that they want to import into the program by checking the checkboxes (shown in the image below).

For all positions in the Animal ID column, the person responsible selects the corresponding animal from the drop-down list so that the program will link the document to it.

In the Document Date field, the person responsible selects the appropriate import date.
To import the files, the person responsible clicks on the Transfer button
The information pop-up window appears: Done!

After importing the files, the checkbox in the File has already been imported column is checked or ticked.

The window closes.
In the Owners and Animals Register, a document or an image (as shown in the image below) is imported into the Simba animal entry under Documentation.
