Pantheon Automation Server (PAAS) which allows automatic startups of tasks set in Pantheon. The automatic start of tasks with PAAS is set for all tasks that can be performed automatically.


 

Pantheon Automation Server or PAAS is a program that reads inputs prepared by users in a Pantheon database and executes them in scheduled time.
 

 

It uses Pantheon to execute tasks added to Tasks Autorun in Administration panel.

 

Kadar se pojavi potreba po opravljeni nalogi, PAAS zažene PANTHEON in izvede razporejene naloge. Po končanem postopku se PANTHEON zapre.

PAAS nameščamo na virtualni računalnik z dostopom do strežnika s podatkovnimi bazami PANTHEON-a. PANTHEON bo sam napravil poizvedbo po bazah podatkov na strežniku ter poiskal naloge, katere čakajo na izvedbo.

V primeru strežnika z večimi bazami podatkov mora biti navidezni računalnik, na katerem se izvaja PAAS sposoben hkrati izvajati operacije PANTHEON-a (na voljo morajo imeti dovolj procesorskih jeder).
