Operations – SE

The form Operations is used to view the lines of the work operations on a work order (WO).

The form shows all WO work operation lines, their general information, the progress in percentage and graphically, the status and the number of already reported work operations and the planned work operations per line.

To open the form, select Manufacturing | SE Work orders from the menu and click one of the WO cards. The tab Operations opens by default.

HINT

Clicking an operation card opens the form Completed work for reporting the completed work for the selected line. For more information on the form, see the chapter Completed work.

Below is a description of the form's parts:

  1. Toolbar
  2. Header
  3. Work operation cards

1. Toolbar

The form toolbar contains buttons and tabs to navigate between the forms in Manufacturing.

For more details on the toolbar, see section 1. Toolbar in the chapter Work order – SE.

2. Header

The header of the form shows the number and the related item (finished product, semi-product) of the WO.

For more details on the form header, see section 2. Header of the chapter Work order – SE.

3. Work operation cards

This part of the form shows all work operation cards.

Each work operation card (shown in the image at the beginning of this chapter and detailed in the image below) contains general information about the work operation line.

(Materials for operation)

If you hover with the mouse cursor over this icon, the Materials for operation window appears with the details of the materials on the WO linked to the operation.

The same information is displayed as on the material card tab on the Materials tab.
Operation The ID and the name of the operation item from the Items register.
# (Line no.) The number of the line where the operation item is located on the WO BOM.
Progress bar Graphical display of the progress in the work completed or received quantities for this operation.
Status (progress
in %)

The progress of the operation. There are two line statuses:

  • Open – The status indicates that the quantity of work completed does not yet correspond to the planned quantity or that the completed work for this line has not yet been entirely finished.
  • Finished – The status indicates that the quantity of work completed does not yet correspond to the planned quantity or that the completed work for this line has been entirely finished.

The progress in the issue of material is shown as a percentage.

Received/
Planned quantity
