Start remote support

 

Start Remote Desktop Services (RDS) by clicking the button on the form in PANTHEON™-(Help)and select the option Remote Support from the menu.

WARNING

To use this function you must be connected to INTERNET (the computer from which you are working must be connected to the World Wide Web).

 

CASE SUMMARY

The user wants to contact a remote support person. This is done in the following steps:

  1. Choosing help Remote support
  2. User server to start support
  3. Waiting for a free supporter
  4. Start of the session

 

1. Choosing help Remote support

The user is located somewhere in PANTHEON.

In the message bar, click (Help), select Remote Support from the set of options.

2. User server to start support

PANTHEON redirects you to the user server and displays a page to start remote support.

In the Reason field, enter the reason for requesting RDS and click on the Start button.

3. Waiting for a free supporter

The server redirects to a new page where it waits for the supporter to report.

If the supporter does not report within 15 minutes, the application will be rejected.

Alternatively, you can cancel your support request by clicking on the Cancel support request button.

4. Opening of the meeting

When a supporter logs in, the server redirects them to a new page:

Click the button Click the button and start working.

A new window appears where you and the supporter start a remote support session.
