Add request

The Add request button in Work records quickly and easily adds a custom request that is documented in Requests and further applied to Tasks.

Clicking on the Add request button open a pop-up window with the following fields:

Employee

Select the employee. By default, the logged-in user is selected, but can be changed.

Leader/certifier

From the drop-down menu, select the leader or certifier who is in charge of reviewing the request. If the leader is already selected in General – Employee information, it will be applied here by default.

Request type

Select request type:

  • Absence (annual leave, sick leave) – uses the Leave, sick leave register/calendar in Settings | Work records.
  • Work obligation – uses the Work obligations register in Settings | Work records.
  • Miscellaneous tasks – uses the Miscellaneous tasks register in Settings | Work records.

Type of absence
/ Type of obligation
/ Type of task

Select between different types of absence/obligation/task depending on the previous field. Subordinate types are taken from respective registers in Settings | Work records.

Start

In the calendar, select the starting date (and time in needed). By default, the current date is used.

End

In the calendar, select the ending date (and time in needed). By default, the current date is used.

Comment

Enter a note for the certifier.
