Copying FMP to Plan

The Copy FMP to Plan form allows you to copy lines from FMP to selected Plan.

Below, see a use case for the feature.

Case summary The responsible person wants to copy lines from FMP into the selected plan.  They can select the lines they want to copy, select the mode of copying and select the plan to copy to. They will proceed as follows: Opening Copy FMP to Plan form Choosing criteria Copy FMP to Plan

1. Opening Copy FMP to Plan form

The responsible person accesses this form from the Schedule plan form by clicking on  (Copy FMP to Plan) button.

HINT This form can also be accessed by clicking on  (Wizards) and selecting Copy FMP to Plan from the drop-down menu or by using keyboard shortcut Ctrl + 8.

2. Choosing criteria

On the open form, lines from the selected plan appear. They will then define the criteria:

• To Plan: In our case they choose 23-HP10-000001 plan.
• Mode: Add FMP Item to Target plan (lines selected from the Copy FMP to Plan table are appended to existing lines in the Plan). 
• Date: Selected start and end date and time
• Item: INDIAN1_FLY
• Item Types: check all

After this the responsible person clicks on  (Refresh Data) button, following which the line selected in the criteria will remaine. Then they select the  (Copy) button.

3. Copy FMP to Plan

After clicking the Copy button, a message appears: Do you really want to add entires of scheduled material plan to destination plan? Existing entries of the destination plan will remain intact. They click on Yes.

When the copying process is successfully executed, a notification appears: Copying of scheduled material plan entries complete.
