Add movements

 

The functionality of adding movements greatly simplifies the creation of an invoice. By using this feature, you copy all the data from the lines of the selected document or set of documents and create a new record (or new records) from them.

Documents that can be added to POSX: Customer Orders, Inter-Warehouse Transfer, POSX documents. In this chapter, we will introduce how we can create a receipt from an already created sales order end customer.

Case summary
Responsible person was created sales order to customer Marc Camper for INDIAN TENT 1. Marc confirmed the order by e-mail and came to for receipt. Marc will create receipt following these steps:Step title
  1. Opening sales order end customer
  2. Select Operation: Add document/Lines
  3. Review created receipt and invoice payment
  4. POS Invoice payment and print receipt

1. Opening sales order end customer

To do this, the person responsible opens menu Orders | Sales Orders  | 0120 – Sales order End customer.


The person responsible first clicks the button  (three dots) in the toolbar, starts typing "Marc" to narrow down the list of orders and then selects the Warehouse BAR by clicking on it. The condition is that his search filter should be Ordered by.

Then, he selects the last one created order and leave it for one of the next steps.

2. Select Operation: Add document/Lines

For this purpose, the person responsible opens the menu Goods | Issue | POS | 3200 – POS retail.
To start creating a new receipt, the person responsible must first select the appropriate Operations.

In the panel 3200 – POS Retail he open new document by clicks the toolbar button (Insert record). The document form 3200 – POS Retail appears on the screen.
Then, he select option +Add Documents/Lines, as shown in the image below:

3. Entering data 

After creating a new record, new form Add Document/Lines to POS opened where responsible person needs to enter data. This form is divided into several sections.

In this case, responsible person inserts the number of Sales order End customer, what we showed in step 1. because he wants to create receipt on this way.

  • In the field Document responsible person insert number of sales orders: 23-0120-000001
  • In tab Transfer Criteria, in this case, he choose Show all Lines (incl. dispatched) and  Copy note.
  • Then, he clicks the button Select. 

After that, the final step is clicking button Add. Now he sees lines transferred from order.


After successfully adding a line, the program will show a message:

3. Review created receipt and invoice payment 

Responsible person open panel 3200 – POS retail.
There he can see new created receipt with transferred line.
In the field Customer only he must change name on Marc Camper.
Other fields program will automatically add.

Clicking on the button  will open a note that we entered on the sales order and the number of the offer from which we made the transfer: Order for INDIAN TENT 1 by e-mail. - 23-0120-000001.

The final step is POS Invoice payment and printing receipt.

4. POS invoice payment and print receipt


For this purpose, the responsible person clicks on the Invoice Payment button, after which the payment window opens.

He can choose between different methods of payment.
In this case, the customer wants pay for item by Cash POS and click Close Receipt, as shown in the image below.

After close the receipt, the program automatically displays the receipt in the new tab.
Roger has yet to print the receipt on the printer. He will do that by clicking on the icon .
