Tecta production planning

Planning is one of the key processes in manufacturing, involving not only production but also purchasing and sales. The planning process is typically carried out in hierarchical planning cycles, medium-term, operational planning and fine short-term terminationcolor: rgba(34, 36, 38, 0.8); font-size: 15px; letter-spacing.
In the following pages of this chapter, we will take a look at the creation of monthly plans from customer orders in PANTHEON, using Tecta as an example. We will create a term plan to check material needs and resource availability. We will procure the missing material requirements by ordering from the supplier. At the end of the process, we will create work orders from the plan, which represent the final level of production planning.

A description of the production planning process at Tecta. |
Creating a plan |
An example of creating a monthly production plan from customer orders. Planning is used to plan the production workflow for a specific period and to ensure that products are produced and delivered on time. |
Scheduling |
An example of creating a forward plan from a monthly production plan. A forward plan is a tool for calculating the material and other requirements to meet the production plan. |
Create Orders |
An example of how to create orders to suppliers for material requirements calculated from a forward plan. The creation of purchase orders from a forward plan is a tool for ordering material requirements from suppliers, which makes the user's job much easier by keeping track of the quantities needed, ordered and received. |
Creating work orders from the forward plan |
Demonstration of how to create work orders in production from a forward plan. With this tool you can easily create a DN with all the data you have defined in the production planning process. |
