Transfer animals

The Transfer Animals functionality enables the transfer of animals between owners along with a history of veterinary events.

The functionality is located in the menu Veterinarian | Registers | Owners and Animals, by clicking the Wizards button in the toolbar.

Below, we have prepared a practical example of transferring animal data from one entity to another.

CASE SUMMARY The person responsible at the veterinary clinic wants to transfer data or animals from the entity Carnivore Shelter to Lia Bengal. The owner Lia Bengal adopted a cat from the shelter, so the person responsible will transfer the data about the Shiba cat to her record. This is done by following these steps: Register of Owners and animals Transfer animals

1. Register of Owners and animals

The person responsible wants to transfer animal data from one entity to another.

For this purpose, the person responsible selects the menu Veterinarian | Registers | Owners and animals.

It opens on the first entry in the register.

Opens the Search owners and animals form using the CTRL + F key combination or by clicking the button (Search).

In the Search string field, the person responsible enters: shelter.

In the lower part of the window, in the Overview section, records of all animals of the subject are displayed. When the person responsible places themselves in one position, they click on the Select button.

The Register of Owners and animals opens on the record of the selected owner.

The person responsible continues by selecting the wizard.

2. Transfer animals

In the toolbar, the person responsible clicks the button (Wizards).

Several functionality selection options appear.

In our case, the person responsible selects: Transfer animals.

The Transfer Animals window opens.

The Transfer from field is automatically filled in, in our case from: Carnivore Shelter.

In the lower part of the window, in the Transfer animals section, the data of all animals of the selected entity is filled in.

The person responsible continues to select the subject to which they want to transfer the animal in the Transfer to field. In our case, the person responsible selects: Lia Bengal.

The person responsible checks the check box in the record or position of the animal that they want to transfer to the new entity. In our case, in the record: Shiba.

To transfer the data, the person responsible clicks on the Transfer button.

A confirmation window appears: Do you really want to transfer the data?

The person responsible confirms the window by clicking on the Confirm button.

The information appears: The animal transfer was successful!

All data of the Shiba cat (shown in the image below) has been transferred to the record of the owner Lia Bengal.
