Import Journal Entry from Excel File

The function is for import entries prepared by the structure of Excel. Import Journal Entry from Excel File can be found under Import/Export Data button.

Pantheon will check if prepared data match existing registers in program. |
Fill In Missing Registers on Transfer |
This option marked will enable to add the missing entries in registers (subjects, chart of accounts, cost holders) at data transfer.

Excel file should contain following columns in the written order:
- Journal entry number (if we want to import data to exact number of journal)
- Period date for journal entry ((if we want to import data to exact number of journal)
- Account
- Subject
- Debit
- Credit
- Document
- Linked Document
- Document Date
- Value Date (Due Date)
- Currency
- Exchange Rate
- Department
- Cost Center
- Note
- Contra Account
- VAT Date
- External Document

To import data to the journal in which we are located in the moment, we should skip columns journal entry number and date of journal entry. |
