The action button: Create new payment method can be found in the right of the command line in the Payment methods register/tab.
On the left, the command line lists all the registers as clickable tabs. On the right, you can find a button specifically for the Payment methods register: Create new payment method.
Clicking on this button opens the Payment method information panel for adding a new payment method to the register.
The command line now changes and shows the buttons Save and X (Cancel).

Enter a max 3-character alphanumerical code of the desired payment method.

Icon
|
Upload an icon into the space with a Drag and drop option or click in the empty space and a File Explorer window will pop up for selecting your icon file. You can use image formats: .jpg, .png, .jpeg, etc.

After entering all the required data, click on the 
(Save) button in the upper-right corner of the panel.
