Installing the PANTHEON Roaming client (client)


PANTHEON Hosting allows you to rent the PANTHEON business software. Data is stored securely in the Telekom cloud (on the server) and can be accessed anywhere, anytime. To get started, all the user needs is the PANTHEON business software and a fast enough internet connection.
In this section we have prepared detailed instructions on how to install the PANTHEON Roaming software.

1. Download and run the installation package
1.1 Download and run the installation package
The user wants to download the PANTHEON software. Clicking on the web address http://ftp.datalab.si/demo/Install_HOST_SQL_SI_1002720.exe will start the download of the PANTHEON installation package to the workstation in the default browser.

After the download is complete, the user opens the folder where the file was downloaded (most often the preset Downloads folder.
Right-click on the Instal_HOST_SQL_SI_1002720.exe file and select Run as administrator/Run as administrator.

1.2. Confirm User Account Control
The User Account Control window opens. The user confirms by pressing Yes/Yes.

1.3 InstallAware Wizard
The user waits for the Setup Wizard to load.


2. Setup Wizard
Welcome to the DataLab Pantheon LS 10 installer
The Setup Wizard opens. In the first step, it shows general information and the installation process.
The user clicks the Next button.

2.2. Licence Agreement
The licence agreement is displayed for review. The user reads the licence agreement contracts. If he/she agrees to them, he/she accepts the terms and conditions of the licence agreement by clicking on the radio button.
It continues by clicking the Next button.

2.3. Type of setting
In this step, you need to set the name of the database to which you are attached as a user. The name of the database will be sent to you by e-mail when you sign up for the PANTHEON Hosting licence.
The user enters the name of the database in the Database field and clicks on the Next button.

WARNING
- If we enter an incorrect name for our database or leave the field blank, we will have to manually correct the Pantheon.ini configuration file later. All Slovenian databases start with the name SI. Example: SI_DATATALAB_DOO
- You can also check your database name on the User Pages under My Data | Hosting | Database and User Overview.
- If we have several databases loaded on the hosting, when installing the hosting client, we choose to select only one of our databases where we are logged in as users when we enter the system name of the database.

2.4. Target map
In this step, the user selects the target folder on the disk where he wants to install the program.
By default, the wizard will offer C:\Datalab LS.
The user agrees to this destination folder and presses the Next button.

2.5. Start menu
In this step, the user selects the folder name for the group in the START menu, within the Windows operating system.
With the trailer, it selects whether the installation is intended for all users of our workstation or only for one user.
The user confirms the settings by clicking on the Next button.

2.6. Ready to install
In this step, we confirm to the wizard to start installing the program.
The user confirms the start of the installation by clicking on the Next button.

2.7 Installing DataLab Pantheon LS 10
The wizard installs PANTHEON.
The user waits for the installation to complete.

2.8 Installation of DataLab Pantheon LS 10 complete
Installation is complete.
The user closes the wizard by clicking on the Next button.

3. Applying to the PANTHEON programme
If you have left the checkbox to run PANTHEON after installation ticked in the last step of the installation, the PANTHEON login window will open.
The user enters his/her user and password in the login window and clicks on the Log in button.

WARNING
- If you have multiple databases loaded on your hosting, you will need to refresh the list of databases when you log in for the first time through PANTHEON. To do this, click on the drop-down list at the company and select the Refresh button. PANTHEON will display the databases where we are logged in as users in the list.
