Change password

It is recommended to change your password every few months. It is vital if your computer or your user account have been broken into, or if you think someone has stolen your password. The first step should be changing your password to the application.

PANTHEON Web Light enables quickly changing the password from the User menu in the upper right corner of the application.

Clicking on Change password opens a pop-up window for entering a new password.

When changing the password, you have to enter your old password first and only then the new password, at least 8 characters long.

Hint When creating a password, make sure that it is not too weak (easy to guess). Avoid password such as 1234, personal names, children’s names, and dates. A strong password includes a combination of letters, capital letters, numbers, and special characters.

A user with sufficient authorizations (e. g. administration account) in PANTHEON Web Light can also change (other) user passwords directly in Settings | Users on individual users.
