To open window for creating tools reports select Tools tab anc click 
in taskbar of specification. It enables you to display reports of tools used in production. Using one type of report (409) you get specification of tools used in production of a specific product (assembly). On the other hand, the other type of report (410) is used in specifying operations where the tool is used.
Selecting a report from Usage of Tools on Operation displays the following Criteria box on the right. Observe description of the other type of tools report in the follow-up.
| Usage of Tools on Operation |
Select this option to create a report with specification on tools used in production of assembly (product). |
| Use of Tools for Products |
Select this option to create a report with specification on tools used with a specific or all products. |
| Item |
Enter or select an item to displays tools used in producing it. If you leave the field empty, the report displays all items. |
| Line From |
Enter an initial number of operation to be used in report. If left empty, the first operation is used. |
| To |
Enter last number of operation to be used in report. If left empty, the last operation is used. |
You receive notification in case of error occurring while setting criteria.
Below you can see the error occurring when only the line criteria is entered. The Item field is left empty:
To generate a report click or double-click the name of report in the tree structure:

| Product/Semi-finished Product |
Displays ID and name of item for which a tool is used. |
| Line |
Displays alternate and line number of operation. In addition, it displays ID and name of operation where the tools are used. |
| Tool |
Displays ID of tools used in operation. |
| Name |
Displays name of tool. |
| Quantity |
Displays number of tools used in operation. |
| Tool Status |
Displays ID and name of status of tool. It is set in the Tools | Fixed Assets, or Small Tools register. |
| Scheduling |
The label Yes tells you that the tools was scheduled. This is set in the Tools | Fixed Assets, or Small Tools register. |

Select this option to create a report with specification on tools used in production of assembly (product). |
| Use of Tools for Other Products |
Displays use of a specific tool for all products. |
| Item |
Enter or select an item to display tool(s) used in its production. Otherwise, the tool is displayed for all products where it was used. |
| Tool |
Enter or select a tool you want to use in report. |

| (ID and name of tool) |
Displays ID and name of tool used in operations. |
| (scheduling) |
If a tool is set to schedule, it has the label (Scheduled). |
| (Tool Status) |
Displays ID and name of status of tool. It is set in the Tools | Fixed Assets, or Small Tools register. |
| (ID and name of tool) |
Displays ID and name of item for which a tool is used. |
| (alternate) |
Displays ID of alternate operation. |
| (line number) |
Displays line number of operation where the specified tool is used. |
| (work operation) |
Displays ID and name of work operation where the tool is used. |
