Balance Report of Customers and Suppliers

Balance report of customers and suppliers enables a simple overview of the movement nad balance of subjects as customers and as suppliers as well together with the offset claims and liabilities balance.

Report type The report of thus selected data may be made by any detail. The selected report type can be displayed by double-clicking the report name or by clicking the report icon.
  • detailed by documents
  • summary by subjects
Customer Account you may enter the account or more than one account by using multi select key , in which claims to customers are monitored. By default this is the first customer account from the parameter (Program parameters | Financials | General).
Supplier Account you may enter the account or more than one account by using multi select key , in which liabilities to suppliers are monitored. By default this is the first supplier account from the parameter (Program parameters | Financials | General).
Subject the report may be restricted by individual subject. If the field is left empty then the overview shall be made for all subjects.
Subject type the report may be restricted by individual subject type
Department the report may be restricted by individual department (internal division)
Due from the report may be restricted by the period start date, to which the due date of documents belongs (from journal entry item) that we want to include in the report
Due to the report may be restricted by the period end date, to which the due date of documents belongs (from journal entry item) that we want to include in the report
Document from the report may be restricted by the period start date, in which documents belong (from journal entry item) that we want to include in the report
Document to the report may be restricted by the period end date, in which documents belong (from journal entry item) that we want to include in the report  
Posting per. from the report may be restricted by the period start date, in which posting date of documents belongs (from journal entry header) that we want to include in the report
Posting per. to the report may be restricted by the period end date, in which posting date of documents belongs (from journal entry header) that we want to include in the report
Document the report may be restricted by individual document (data from the journal entry item)
Linked document the report may be restricted by individual linked document (data from the journal entry item)
Outstanding
  • the field should be selected, if we want to display only the outstanding amount of the dcument (e.g. in case of partial payments)
  • If the field is not selected, the whole amount of the document as posted is displayed
Currency the balance report may be created in the foreign currency, if the posting was in foreign currency. In such a case you enter the foreign currency code in this field.
(Amount type) if the posting is in a foreign currency, the amounts of claims and liablities in the balance report may be displayed as:
  • in LCY
  • Foreign
Subject's balance We may select which claims and liabilities do we want to include in the report. We may choose one or both of the options:
  • credit balance – items where the balance of credited claims and liabilities are displayed (there are more claims than liabilities to the subject)
  • debit balance – items where the balance of debited claims and liabilities are displayed (there are more liabilities than claims to the subject)

Together with one of the above options we may select:

  • only supplier/customer balance – subjects that act as customers and suppliers simultaneously are displayed
  • balanced
