Periods

You can use Periods in Work records to define the periods with rules that are apply to the working hours, mandatory attendance, lunch breaks and breaks for each Work schedule. The periods apply at company level.

The screen can be divided into the following sections:

This section shows periods that specify how employee's working hours are accounted for. More periods can be added. If no period is entered, no working hours restrictions apply.
| Day of the week |
From the drop-down list, select the work schedule for which the rules will apply. Available days are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and All days. |

Before start
|
Specify the duration that will be accounted for as employee's working hours before the start of the company's official working hours. The duration can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon.

After end
|
Specify the duration that will be accounted for as employee's working hours after the end of the company's official working hours. The duration can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon.

(Add)
|
Enter all the required data in the blank line and then click this button to add a new period.

|
(Delete)
|
Deletes the period line.
|
This section shows periods that apply as mandatory attendance of the employee in the workplace. More periods can be added. If no period is entered, no working hours restrictions apply.

Enter all the required data in the blank line and then click this button to add a new period.

This section shows periods in which the employee can take a lunch break, break, private exit, etc. More periods can be added. If no period is entered, no working hours restrictions apply.

|
Specify the duration after the start of the company's official working hours after which the employee can take a lunch break. The time can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon.

Specify the duration before the end of the company's official working hours before which the employee can take a lunch break. The time can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon.

The duration that is accounted for the selected type of work obligation specified in the Name column (e.g. 0:30 minutes for Lunch break). |

This section shows the allowed number of breaks, private exits, etc. of the employee. More periods can be added. If no period is entered, no working hours restrictions apply.

Specify the number of allowed breaks during the working day.

Break duration
|
Specify the duration of a single break. The duration can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon.

Specify a time limit for breaks during the working day. The time limit can be entered or selected after clicking the (clock) icon. |

Enter all the required data in the blank line and then click this button to add a new line.

|
Deletes the line.
