Delete a Specification
To delete specifications, click Delete Specifications in the Settings | Manufacturing | Specifications menu.
You can also open the window by clicking Delete Specification in wizards menu of product specification.

Set type of specification to delete. You can select among the following:

Enter or select an item to delete in specification. |
| Alternate |
Enter or select a spec alternate to delete. |
| Delete Sublevels |
If checked, you can delete subordinate levels of specification. It is unchecked by default. |
Click the Delete button to delete specification according to set criteria.
You can delete lines of material in the panel for adding lines. On the other hand, lines of operations can be deleted in the panel for adding operations.
A check is run before actually deleting. The following criteria are checked in individual types of specification:
- Product Specification:item, alternate
- Plan Specification: plan ID and line number, alternate
- Manufacturing Specification: work order, alternate
- Commercial Specification: item
The following messages are displayed in case of errors occurring.
The following checks are run before deleting a manufacturing specification: Work order has serial numbers allocated.
Quantity has already been issued on this work order.
The corresponding messages are returned and you cannot proceed with delete operation.
