Chart View

The component of the Dashboard can also be represented in chart view, displaying different values. 

 The chart window is divided into the following boxes:

  • There is the SQL box where yoiu can set the corresponding SQL Query. You check the 38301.gifPrefetch Data checkbox for prefetching data for a specific component. By clicking the Use SQL button performs SQL Query.
  • The Chart Type box enables you to select the type of chart (Line Chart - Vertical, Line Chart - Horizontal, Area Chart - Vertical, Area Chart - Horizontal, Scatterplot, Column Chart - Vertical, Column - Horizontal or Pie Chart)
  • The Link Data enables you to create links between data and chart axis (you can set which data you want to see displayed on the X-axis and which on the Y-axis).
  • The General is used for entering the name and selecting the chart settings.
  • The Description field enables you enter any description for the component.
