Posting

 

The modules Posting and Automatic posting are used to record various business events. Every business event in a company is recorded as a change in an account, either as a credit or a debit. This gives you an overview of the account balance at any time.

Posting in PANTHEON can carried out in three ways: directly from the entered document, manually or automatically.

This chapter includes the following examples:

Posting directly from document

In PANTHEON, documents issued and received can be posted directly from the document. This chapter describes the process of posting directly from a document.

Manual posting

 The process of manual posting will be illustrated using the example of posting a bank statement for the fictional company Tecta.

Automatic posting

 Automatic posting is easy and allows bookkeepers to work faster when posting invoices issued/received. This chapter describes the automatic posting of invoices received by the fictional company Tecta.
