There are members classified according to corresponding dimensions
available In the Parameters box. You can
select between them. They are classified hierarchically which means that the parent member
always contains all child members.
The report resuls are valid only for the selected members of individual
dimensions.
To select the desired member or member group first click the specific
dimension. It is maximized. When maximized you can select the members placed in the hierarchical
structure (
,
).
You select the member by checking the checkbox. Only those members
with the checked checkbox are indluded in the report (
).

Time Dimension
The time dimension Period
could be classified among the peculiarities in the parameters. Instead of the tree strucure
view you are offered a tool for selecting time intervals when selecting members of this
dimension.
First you decide whether you want to display the time frame (by selecting
the Time Frame) or rather compare two periods
(Comparison).
If you selected for two periods there is a possibility of displaying
also the index of the two periods:


Select the time unit in the Select Period
box, according to which you want to monitor the analysed data. The following are available:

After you selected the unit you should also select the start (From)
and end (To) dates in the
Select Period box if you checked the
Comparison checkbox.

Example:
Selected Criteria:
- Items: computer
- Customers: John, Michael
- Users: all users
- Period: 2008
They can be used in reports of the type "how many computers were
sold to customers John and Michael by the clerks in the year
2008".

The selected members of a specific dimension are grouped (regardles
of their position in the hierarchy). The results
of the report will include only the selected group of members. Any member
can be added only once.

If all the child members are
selected, the parent member is selected also (its checkbox is checked):

If no child members
are selected, the parent child is not either(its
checkbox is unchecked):

If only some of
the child members are selected, the parent member is partially selected (its
checkbox is greyed):

You can select or
deselect all child members by clicking the parent member!
