Send an e-document to bizBox (Send to bizBox)

Using the Mailbox, this eWorkflow transfers documents (in the eSLOG format) from eDocumentation to the single electronic document exchange platform (bizBox).

In practice, this means that the eWorkflow is used to send e-documents (e.g. an e-invoice) from eDocumentation to the customers.

HINT

The activation of the eDocumentation storage package is not required for sending an e-invoice.

The eWorkflow is made up of a set of automated elements, which run in the background. To help you understand how it works, see the explanation of the key steps below as outlined in the accompanying flow chart:

  1. The eWorkflow first searches for or collects the documents that are ready to be sent. This means that they are in XML format (like eSLOG and their status is Send In this step, the key block is the Script block with the predefined program code.
  2. The eWorkflow carries out the login to the electronic document exchange platform (bizBox – ZZI). The key block in this step is the REST mailbox block, which establishes a predefined connection with the bizBox – Inbox.
  3. Next, the eWorkflow prepares the documents in the appropriate format for sending: it converts XML with attachments to compressed packets (ZIP). The DMS to files block is crucial in this step..
  4. Sends/uploads the sent packages to the eMailbox, the platform for electronic document exchange (bizBox – ZZI). This means that the document status changes to Finished in the documentation. In this step, the key block is the REST mailbox block, which establishes a predefined connection with the bizBox – Outbox.
  5. The eWorkflow checks the response/return receipt confirming whether the steps have been carried out successfully. This means that the document status in the Documentation changes according to the success of the document transfer, i.e. based on the customer's response (Delivered, Failed or Rejected). The Database block is crucial in this step..
  6. The eWorkflow carries out the logout from the electronic document exchange platform (bizBox – ZZI). The key block in this step is the REST mailbox block, which establishes a predefined connection with the incoming bizBox – Inbox.

HINT

To import the eWorkflow, follow the procedure described in Transferring eWorkflow via PANTHEON Web Service.

For the eWorkflow to work properly, the following settings must be defined beforehand:

HINT

For issuing or sending an e-invoice, see the use case in the chapter Sending an e-invoice.
