Accruals / Deferrals - Automatic Posting

The module is intended for automatic posting of accruals and deferrals, created in module Accruals / Deferrals.

 

 

 

 Document Date From ... To ... 

Candidates selection could be limited by document date, which limits candidates depending on the date of re-posting in position of accruals/deferrals.
Subject Candidates selection could be limited by subject.
Accrual / Deferral Account Candidates selection could be limited by account of accruals/deferrals.
Re-Post Account Candidates selection could be limited by account for re-post.
Journal Entry Creation
  • One Journal Entry - posting with one journal entry.
  • Single Journal Entry for Accrual/Deferral, Target Date is Accrual/Deferral - Pantheon will join posting candidates by accruals/deferrals date and make so many journal entries that are dates for re-posting. Target dates  of created journal entries are equal to re-posting dates on documents.
  • Single Journal Entry per Month, Target Date is Last Day of the Month - Pantheon will join posting candidates by accruals/deferrals date. Candidates will be posted on the last date of the month. All accruals/deferrals within a month will be join in one journal entry with target date on last day of the month.

Posting Type:

Create option will create new journal entry.

Append option will add entries on existing journal entry with the same target period. Choose it from drop down menu.
Document Type Document Type for posting.
Target Date Set Target Date for journal entry. It is current date by default.
Posting Date Set Posting Date, for journal entry to be posted.  It is current date by default.

 

Documents to be posted panel show candidates that  correspond set criteria. Positions data are identical those in module Accruals/Deferrals in panel Created Accruals/Deferrals. Additional column Document is hidden by default.
