In order to product Product - K see the following specification structure.

It can be observed that a multi-level specification structure is used for Product - K. This way you will have to create3 specifications:

- Semi-finished product 1 - where document type used is 6P0

- Semi-finished product 2 - where document type used is 6K0 - Subcontract Manufacturing

- Product - K - where document type used is 6H0

 

The practical side of the above specification structure is that manufacture Semi-finished product 01 by yourself and outsource it for further processing to subcontractor. After receiving the product, transform Semi-finished product 02 using own production service (Semi-finished product01 + subcontractor's service - SUBCON) in order to manufacture finished product Product K.

Operation Settings

Semi-finished product 02 is transformed from Semi-finished product 01 using its own operation SUBCON by the subcontractor - subcontractor manufacturing. Here you have to set resource, that is, the one set for subcontractor.

Set resource for semi-finished product 02 in Operations panel to subcontract manufacturing. Resource type must be set to external.
