Templates for Automatic Posting

In Template for Automatic Posting register you can change and add formulas enabling you to perform calculations and post data:

• for individual often recurring postings and reports which are not included in standard automatic posts (see Posting by Template),
• for postings required by year-end,
• for periodic VAT report,
• when removing records of cost by distribution keys

Template for automatic posting can be accessed from menu Settings | Financials | Templates for Automatic Posting.

Posting Templates window opens:

1. Toolbar: Here you can create reports, import and export templates, for additional information read chapter Toolbar in Posting Template. Creating reports using a template from which you can launch a print-out and post.
2. Header: in header define key information about template.
3. Lines: in lines enter formulas for calculating in lines of posting templates.

WARNING All predefined templates used in automatic posting are based on predefined accounts and settings for automatic posting and are thus SAMPLE POSTING TEMPLATES. Before using it is MANDATORY THAT YOU CHECK if the settings comply to your business and accounting practices!
