Transition to newPOS

Before transitioning from the old POS module to the newPOS module, you need to update the program to the current version.

In the advanced upgrade menu, you need to tick the Download exe and Download other in the newPOS section.

After successfully upgrading the program, a new program, NewPOS_SQL.exe, will be added to your work folder, which you have to run to open the newPOS program.

After successfully running the program, shortcuts for the service module of the newPOS will be created in the same folder:

• NewPOS_SQL service – a settings editor for the newPOS module
• NewPOS_SQL touch – touchscreen editor
• NewPOS_SQL room – editor of the graphical table overview

All the service modules can be entered with the password "newpos".

To enter the cash register module of newPOS you need to create a user in the user group POS and assign it a WEB password, with which the user can log into newPOS. See the instruction in the section Add user.
