Medical Examination

The employee must complete the medical examination before first being employed in the company. The medical examination ensures the employees fulfil the requirements for performing the tasks required by the employer. PANTHEON enables you to monitor workers' medical examinations in the Medical Examinations panel of the Employees Register, where the data is automatically transferred.

This chapter presents a case of entering medical examinations and the State of Health Records of a Tecta company employee.

CASE SUMMARY

The person responsible in the Tecta company wants to enter data about a new employee's medical examination. This is done as follows:

  1. Creating a New Medical Examination Entry
  2. Entering General Data
  3. Entering the Medical Examination Report
  4. Printing the Medical Certificate
  5. The Employee's Medical Examination Record

1. Creating a New Medical Examination Entry

The person responsible creates a new record about a completed medical examination for a new employee.

The person responsible selects the menu Personnel | Health and Safety at Work | Medical Examinations.

A Medical Examinations window opens.

Clicking the button creates a new record.

2. Entering General Data

Next, the person responsible enters general data about the employee, who completed the medical examination.

From the drop-down menu in the Worker field, the person responsible selects: Calvin Clerk.

After selecting, the Last Name, Name, Registration No., Position, and Department fields are filled in automatically.

The Previous Examin. field stays empty, as this is the first examination entered for this employee.

The date data is read from the Medical Examinations panel of the Employee File, from the Examination Date field.

Next, the person responsible selects the Person Responsible for referring the employee to the examination.

In the Our Notes window, the person responsible can manually provide a reason for the referral, as shown in the image below.

3. Entering the Medical Examination Report

Next, the person responsible enters data in the Medical Examination Report section.

In the Examination Date field, the person responsible selects the date, when the employee attended the examination.

The person responsible marks the Passed checkbox, if the employee has passed the examination.

From the drop-down list in the Exam. Name field, the person responsible selects the type of examination.

The person responsible confirms the entered data by clicking the button.

4. Printing the Medical Certificate

By clicking the (Reports) button in the Toolbar, the person responsible selects the report option for different documents.

In this case, the person responsible wants to print the Medical Certificate for Preliminary Preventive Examination.

A preview of the filled Medical Certificate opens, as shown in the image below.

The person responsible clicks the (Print) button in the taskbar to print the Certificate.

5. The Employee's Medical Examination Record

The employee's medical examination entered in the above steps is automatically copied to the Medical Examinations panel of the employee's Employee File.

The medical examination records are kept in the panel Personnel | Employee Files | State of Health | Medical Examinations.

To see the medical record, the person responsible uses navigation keys to find employee Calvin Clerk in the taskbar.

The person responsible opens the Medical Examinations panel, which includes data about the employee's first medical examination.

HINT

Employee's level of disability and dysfunctions are tracked in the Disability panel.
