If the account is marked as closed in the VAT Account panel, the tax period is closed as well. What this basically means is that the documents from the closed tax period cannot be changed anymore.

If you attempt to change documents whose tax period is already closed, an error is returned:

If you want to change the document anyway, you first have to change the status of tax account (that is, from closed to open).

You must close the account after you have submitited the form to the tax authority because by this you prevent recording of data in the closed tax period.

Solution:

1. Data cannot be changed becuase the tax period is already closed.

2. If you closed the period too early, that is by mistake, assign the status of open account thus enabling you to make changes to the document.
