By using the function for archiving subject account's and general ledger data you can transfer data from journal entries of subject accounts/general ledger to tables in archived posting logs. Here you must enter the end period date from journal entry headers you want to archive. It CANNOT BE earlier than the opening date of  general ledger since this would mean that you are trying to archive data of the current fiscal year.

If you do not enter the date oir enter date more recent than the opening date of general ledger, the archiving is not executed and the following error is returnd:

Solution:

Enter the correct end date used in archiving which needs to be more recent than the opening date of general ledger.
