Clicking Specification in a sales order opens window for compound items where you can create and modify a corresponding product specification. By default the specification from Items register is offered.

You can call up this function only in itmes of the type U, A, and of course, P - Semi-Finished Products and Products of Own Manufacture (see item types). Should you try to view product specification for any other item type, the following error is returned:
