Fixed Assets

In the Equipment module it is enabled to acquire data and make an income statement of the company's fixed assets and its small tools. In addition it enables us to show assets together with the inventory numbers and events related to them as well as depreciation and revaluation.

Posting to the general ledger is performed automatically by accounts which are predefined in the Fixed Assets and Small Tools registers.

Before using the Equipment module to calculate depreciation, registers should be created and supplemented: 

• Depreciation Categories register  
• Revaluation Rates register
• Fixed Assets Status 
• Functional Status of Fixed Assets
• Fixed Assets Groups  
• Fixed asset locations

In addition you may create:

• Fixed Assets register
• Small Tools register

Depreciation may be calculated via the menu choice

• Depreciation Calculation

and the inventory count for fixed assets via the menu choice

• Inventory Count

When we use authorizations for department and cost centers (must be set in administration panel) , records that match unauthorized departments and cost centers are not displayed!
