In the current month company A has

  • exported $10,000 worth of goods to the company B and issued an invoice. In the previous month they received prepayment from customers in the amount of $2,000.
  • imported $4,000 worth of goods from company B and was invoiced. In the previous month they issued prepayment to supplier in the amount of $500.
  • issued prepayment on import of services in the amount of $777.

Company B does not submit report to the Bank of Slovenia.

Company A on the other hand submits report on import and export:

Below you can see listed outstanding payables:

  • invoices received for imported goods
  • received prepayments for exported goods

Below you can see listed outstanding receivables:

  • invoices issued for exported goods
  • issued prepayments for imported goods

Example:

In January:

  • you exported goods in the amount of 200 GBP to Buyer Ltd.
  • you received prepayment in the amount of 300 GBP from Foreign Buyer Ltd.

In February:

  • you export goods in the amount of 300 GBP to Foreign Buyer Ltd.

You receive the following payments in February:

  • Payment in the amount of 200 GBP from Buyer Ltd.

Receivables in GBP:

+200 credit balance at the end of the previous month
