Lokalna instalacija znači da korisnik program i bazu podataka instalira na vlastiti server ili računar. U tom slučaju korisnik je sam odgovoran za upravljanje bazom podataka, brigu o sigurnosnim kopijama i ažuriranje programa na nove verzije. Po dogovoru, podršku za nadogradnju može pružiti i konsultant korisničke podrške.
