Evidentiranje knjižnog odobrenja je važno jer se njime ostvaruje umanjenje izlaznog poreza kod prodavca i pravo na odbitak ulaznog poreza kod kupca. Knjižno odobrenje mora biti ovjereno od strane oba poreska obveznika, čime se potvrđuje saglasnost obje strane za izvršenu korekciju
