Prije nego počnemo s planiranjem, potrebno je definirati vrstu dokumenta za planiranje, koja se nalazi u izborniku Postavke -> Program -> Vrste dokumenata. Potrebno je odrediti novu Šifru dokumenta za planiranje , dodjeliti naziv i nakon toga možemo zapoćeti sa korištenjem modula planiranje.
