VAT and non-VAT Registered

Non-VAT registered

In the menu Settings – Company you can set whether the company is VAT registered.

If you uncheck the VAT registered check box, a warning window opens, saying that changing the company VAT setting will affect all product prices.

If you want to see the price change for an item, go to the menu Master data – Items

A new window with a detailed overview of your items will appear. You can see that the Price and Price incl. tax fields are identical. This means that the item value without VAT is ignored and the application will calculate only its gross price.

VAT registered

If you leave the VAT registered check box checked (as in the picture below), the Price and Price incl. tax values will be different.

This means that both the price with and without VAT will be displayed when you're issuing bills.
