Resources
Open the Resources register from the Settings | Manufacturing menu.
The Resources register basically include the following: registers of positions of employment, machinery, technological divisions. It represents the smalles unit where the work process is executed. The Resources register ensures information on gross and net capacity available on a specific date. It is linked to the calendar using which you can specify working and holiday days.
The main section you can find the header data. Below you can see tabs opening panels containing detailed information. For more information see follow-up.

Select type of resource from the Resource Types register. |

- Work - Work processes are carried out here.
- Collective - Combines individual resources in a unit.
- External - Work processes are carried out here but work documentation is not created (e.g. sub-contracting). Selecting this option you can enter subcontractor's ID.

Besides data in the main section you also have one or more panels for entering additional data.
- General - Here you can enter main data defining resource, that is, available capacities, calendar, regulations, salary grade and related tool (inventory).
- User-defined Fields - By entering these fields further define the resource.
- Equipment - Specify equipment used in the resource.
- Positions of Employment - Specify positions of employment linked to the resource.
- Employees - Specify employees on the resource.
- Wear - Specify wear in the resource.
- Resource Types - A list of resource types is displayed here. Edit them in Resource Types register.

Defining resources presents one of the leading problems in manufacturing companies. It is recommended that the smallest division is used for planning or monitoring capacities.
